Meet Our Team
Great work requires great people, and we think ours are some of the best.
At KidSense, we are more than master teachers; we are creators, explorers, and changemakers. We approach our work not just as a job, but as a mission: to craft meaningful curriculum and experiences that spark wonder, foster connection, and enrich the lives of children and families.
Allyson L. Weaver, Founder
Allyson founded KidSense Learning with a clear mission: to give young children the strongest possible start by equipping them with the foundational skills, confidence, and curiosity they need to thrive in Pre-K and Kindergarten.
She knows this world from the inside out. With over two decades of experience in independent school admissions — including leading admissions divisions at two of the country's most respected schools — Allyson has spent her career watching what happens when children arrive prepared, and what's lost when they don't. That experience became the foundation for everything KidSense is built on.
Allyson is deeply rooted in the education community. She believes that school readiness isn't a luxury — it's a right. And that every child, given the right support at the right time, is capable of walking into a classroom for the first time and knowing they belong there.
KidSense is her answer to that belief.
Lauren R. Holland, Esq., Curriculum Architect
Lauren brings a rare combination of legal acumen, early childhood expertise, and a genuine love of learning to everything she creates for KidSense. A graduate of Boston College and Georgetown University Law Center, Lauren began her career as a Teach For America corps member teaching in DC Public Schools, where she earned her Master's in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction. She went on to become a Fulbright Scholar in South Korea, researching bilingual language development and cognitive abilities in young children, a foundation that shapes every curriculum decision she makes today.
Lauren believes that great curriculum doesn't just teach — it ignites. Her work at KidSense reflects that belief, blending developmental research, creative design, and a deep understanding of how young minds learn best.
Meridith C. Weaver, Digital Engagement Manager
Meridith is the creative force behind KidSense's digital presence, and she comes to the role with a perspective that's equal parts strategic and personal. A lifestyle blogger and social media consultant, Meridith has spent years helping individuals and companies find their voice online, build genuine community, and show up in ways that feel both polished and real.
A University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate with a background in Communication Arts, Meridith has a deep understanding of what makes people stop scrolling and actually connect. Her time working with DC Public Schools only sharpened that instinct when she launched a student-centered literacy program and built digital strategies that helped a large public institution engage its community in a more human way.
At KidSense, she brings all of it together: the storytelling, the strategy, and the warmth.
